ICMPD

The International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) is an international organisation supporting migration policy and practice. Founded in 1993, ICMPD is headquartered in Vienna with a liaison office in Brussels. It holds UN observer status and works with member states, EU institutions, UN agencies and partners. ICMPD has 21 member states and cooperates with governments in more than 90 countries.

ICMPD takes a comprehensive, route-based approach to migration, convenes stakeholders and strengthens cooperation through field projects, research, policy development and capacity building.

The ICMPD Representation in Türkiye works with national and international partners to strengthen migration management, with offices in Istanbul and Ankara and a central role in coordinating ICMPD activities in the country.
